What materials are usually used for anti-static labels?
Anti-static label: It is a self-adhesive label with anti-static permanent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and white coating suitable for thermal transfer printing. The material can be divided into two kinds of materials: polyester and polyimide (with high temperature resistance), both of which are labels specially designed for printed circuit boards or related electronic parts applications that need to reduce static electricity. Characters or bar codes can be printed on the surface of the label.
The high temperature resistant anti-static label is an ideal material that can withstand the erosion of various fluxes, fusing agents and cleaning agents in the production process of various circuit boards.
Anti-static labels can prevent electronic static damage and can withstand various challenges faced in the production process of printed circuit boards.
Keywords: printed circuit boards, motherboards, electronic components, PCB circuit boards, reflow ovens, wave soldering, SMT manufacturing processes, barcode labels.
The main material of anti-static label
The silver PET, white pet, and pvc labels are treated with special treatment to achieve anti-static effect.
Anti-static label, to prevent electronic static damage, can withstand various challenges faced by printed circuit board production. Static electricity can severely damage any electronic components or equipment. This damage often occurs in the factory building, but it may also occur when the finished product is already in use. Labels used as identification are one of the reasons that can cause electrostatic damage to components, regardless of whether your production employees have taken preventive measures, such as wearing anti-static wrists and foot straps. When a label is torn from the backing paper, it can generate up to 1000 volts of static electricity. Generally speaking, the other common labels we use are all insulating materials. Therefore, these labels will retain static electricity for a period of time before returning to a neutral state.
